John A Lisk SCV Camp 2014 Events List
June 28th 2014 Troyfest The Camp will operate a booth on Main Street in Troy to promote membership and sell items to raise operating funds for camp activities. The camp's location at Troyfest are lots 23 and 24 which is directly across from 1st Bank in the center of town.Currently Willard, Brian, and myself are slated to work the booth but we could still use more volunteers.
October 24th, 25th, 26th 2014 Montgomery House The Camp will hold it's annual living history at the Montomery House located 8 miles west of Mt. Gilead on NC Hwy 73. This event is a camp on the grounds living history providing historical demonstrations and education of life in the mid 19th century. The event is free to reenactors and the public. All are welcome.
November 2nd 2014 Kron House The camp will display, demonstrate,educate, and interact with the public from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm at the historical Dr. Kron House located on Morrow Mountain State Park in Stanly County.
